Even though he agrees to this he has no time for a teenager. Work is his life and nothing else matters, but when Sophie walks out of the elevator his who world is turned upside down.Sophie is 17 years old. Her and her mother were never close she has been living in boarding schools her whole life. Now she must live with her step dad for a whole week. However she is beyond attracted to him. So know they must live in total hell for one week with one another.Wow this was wow. The teasing and tension between Bruce and Sophie alone will having you fanning yourself. I loved that she brings out the more playful, youthful side of Bruce. And he brings the wanton side of her out. The two of them together are explosive and just when you think it's getting ready to get to the good part the author teases and pulls back and builds it back up again. A really fantastic story! A must read

I also loved watching Bruce squirm and fight his every physical impulse and still try to do the right thing. It's was the perfect recipe that kept me turning the pages and fanning myself until the very end.
oooohhh insta-love, alpha male, step-father/step-daughter (they've never met), an inattentive mother (passed away), young virgin girl, there's so much to love in this book. Bruce and Sophie are fabulous characters, I loved the personal growth they each experience. A fun plot and great writing round out the three most important things to me. Fantastic, quick, sexy read from Alexa Riley!
This book is so sexy and hot it's almost too good to be true.Bruce has made his career his entire life. He even married for convenience to help him and Debra so they both met their career goals. But his marriage was traditional at all. It was only on paper, and now after Debra has died he finds he's responsible for his wife's daughter.Sophie has been raised by nannies and sent to boarding schools. She's never had any kind of relationship with her mother except being a burden. But now that she's died she finds her step-dad is left with the responsibility to care for her until she's 18. But there's something about Bruce that stirs feelings Sophie isn't use to, and she'll do everything to get him to love her.
I love this book hell I love almost all Alexa books that I have read so far.If you like emotional, drama, lost, love, sadness, loneliness, Hot sex, there on povs and the beat epilogue this is the book for YOU.She is 18 and he is 32, she lost her mom but was not close to her and he lost is wife but it was only arranged marriage. Sophie went to go stay with Bruce until her mother estates have been worked out. That is all I'm given read this book!!!
