Toddler favorite! Bought this book for my 2 year old grandson and he loves it! The book is in the shape of the dump truck on the cover. Not to big but just right for small hands. The pictures are big and bold and colorful enough to grab your attention. Only thing I noticed is that the book title is on the back of the book and not the front, which is different for a book's title. Still a good little book.Ordered my book and received it in a weeks time when I thought it would take much longer. I Would definitely order from this seller again!

This is the first and last thing my grandsons go for at grandma's house. They love this book and Ive had it for a while now. The boys are 2 and 3 now and it is the last book they read at night when they come to grandmas to stay. They both know the book by heart now and can tell me what truck is on each page. I highly reccomend this book if you have little boys in your family!!

I've never been disappointed by the DK board books. Pictures are awesome with great subjects and perfect colors/printing. They are sturdy and stand up to abuse for your little one in a chewing stage so will last. I now stock 5-10 of these for presents to young kids.

If your son is like mine, trucks, planes and trains are the most interesting things on earth! We really like this book because it gives realistic pictures of actual trucks (vs drawings). My 19 month old notices the real thing when we're out and about much more now that he's seen photos of dump trucks and diggers. This book is definitely a favorite!

My son loves trucks and books so this was one looked like a no brainier to me. For some reason he isn't that into it, maybe bc it's not bright and fun like his other truck books.

My grandson carries this book around all the time. His granddad has a dump truck so he just calls this "Dump". If someone sits down he's ready to bring the book to them to read. I get excited that he likes books.

The book is okay. It's the shape of dump truck and doesn't have very many examples. It's also easy to break which our toddler son did. "My Big Truck Book" is better.

This book isn't very long and doesn't really have any writing that makes much sense but my toddler son seems to enjoy looking at the pictures so I guess it was work the few bucks I spent on it.

New Zealand is top of my list of places I’d love to go, so I was so excited to get this book!! First off, it’s gorgeous!! The photography is beautiful and just makes me want to go even more! I’ve found the recipes themselves to be easy and delicious.Shortly after I got this book, I had a craving for chocolate and my 16-year-old daughter was wanting to bake something. Perfect! I asked her to make the Choco Block Biscuits. Oh, my!! They are amazing!! I took some to work the next day and my co-worker fell in love with them as well. Rich and delectable, they are also very easy to make.Pavlova is a quintessential New Zealand dish (not to jump into the Australian/New Zealand pav fight!) and not as hard to make as you might think. I definitely recommend you giving this one a try!From Cheese Scones to classic Roast Lamb, Lamingtons and amazing seafood, this book captures New Zealand food in a delightful way. I can’t make everything in this book–I don’t exactly have access to Paua, whitebait, hapuka or other New Zealand ingredients–but there is so much to love and enjoy in this book. I can remember back to yesteryear, prior to Wordpress, when I had to code my entire website by hand. Now a days, blogging platforms like Word Press and Blogger do the majority of the coding for you. You still need to know the basics of coding in case you accidentally make a mistake on your site or if you want to customize your website or blog. This books is a good tool for "those" people to have in their library.I've always loved the "Dummies" books. They are simple to understand and easy to navigate. And in true Dummies fashion, they have online resources listed in the back of the book. And, for those who want Dummies on the Go, there's an app for that.

I purchased this for my 11yr old daughter who is into computer technology and always wants to know more about computers. She kinda grumbled when she received it, but I am already seeing results that she is reading and understanding it. I believe this is a great book if you want to know the ins and outs of computer programming.

I have been readingg this book, but as with anything, you have to practice, practice, practice - and that demanads time I do not have to devote to it. It is easy reading though and I have been enjoying that.

It is an outstanding overview of all the latest information on creating content for the web experience.The book is clearly designed for those who know all the words but don't necessarily understand them. If you have worked in HTML in the past but need a refresher course on the latest coding languages, it is here. This modestly sized volume (only about 260 pages) covers everything you need to know to get up to speed with HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, Python and Ruby. These days, clients and employers (and users, whether they know it or not) are interested in responsive design and app creation, both are here with sections on Bootstrap and app creation. These days you want to make sure you are designing for the phone or tablet, that is all here.The book is lavishly illustrated (in color!) and demos are clear and easy to follow. There is also an outstanding section of resources and great advice on how to move forward in coding. I have done some computer coding and have used many resources to get better at it, but this was the best book I have used yet for giving me a big picture sense of the whole business.This is not a "college course in a book." I have contended in former reviews that short stores are one of the most difficult classifications of fiction to write. The author has to set up the plot, develop characters and some actions, come to a real or vague conclusion and then get out – end the story. Leung has written a middle ground of sorts. She has linked short collections of first-person narratives to raise the mask of the late 1970’s suburbia. Picture a middle-class neighborhood that reveals isolation and an underlying sadness leading to suicides.In the first story, we are introduced to June Lee, a Chinese girl, who is well-liked and ponders situations often to her detriment. She is a good girl, by many standards, and is alarmed by the number of suicides in her Toronto community. The suicides were not isolated to the Chinese; whites and others perpetuated this anguish. Yet, there are many divides among the characters. There is Darren, who is taught by his mother to keep his head down and work hard. Despite this careful upbringing, he becomes the victim of vicious racism, from a teacher, no less. Although these stories take place in the late 1970’s, I wonder if much has changed.There are children of those who committed suicide, also. There is a woman who seems perfect and yet hangs herself. There are some subtleties but there is a strong theme of mental illness and severe isolation and loneliness. These stories are connected by the setting; these young people and adults are living in Toronto, in a diverse Canadian suburb where many are looking for a better life or one that will alleviate some of the divides among the white, wealthier neighbors to those that are struggling.Leung’s collection demonstrates an ability to uniting these individual stories until, at the end, we can almost feel the heartbreak when the children are subject to assaults and shame. She is a writer that has exposed the fragility of adulthood.and others perpetuated this anguish. Yet, there are many divides among the characters. There is Darren, who is taught by his mother to keep his head down and work hard. Despite this careful upbringing, he becomes the victim of vicious racism, from a teacher, no less.
